The Wedding Date

Extracted from the movie; The Wedding Date

Nick : If you look people in the eye, they won't notice what you're wearing

Nick : I know how important that this is for you. But remember, you're a beautiful woman and you've got everything in the world going for you.

Jeffrey : Weddings are celebration of love and commitment

Nick : Close your eyes. You're safe. You can relax. I'm not gonna kiss you. He's gonna be sorry he lost you. So stop worrying. Forget the past, forget the pain. And remember, what an incredible woman you are. If you do that, he'll realize what he lost

Nick : I think I'd miss you even if we'd ever met

Nick :..Maybe now you'll be able to able to hold on to this long enough to ruin your next relationship!

Dad: So why you let him go?
Kat: It's complicated, dad
Dad : Hmm..right. It probably wouldn't have worked out anyway huh?...I remember reading a fascinating article in the NYT magazine ...where this guy said; "Every woman has the exact love life she wants". You know what?I agree with him. But I refuse to believe that this is what you want, Kat. Ever since you were little kid, you've always worried about what other people think. Now, come on...what do you think, is he the guy for you?
Kat:...
Dad: Then go and get him

Nick : The hardest thing is loving someone and then having the courage to let them love you back. But if you know her shit and she knows yours, at the end of the day..you still would rather gave up than try..nothing's ever gonna be worth it..

Nick: Last night, when we were fighting, I thought this was over and I was going to leave you alone and take off..but then I realized..I'd rather fight with you than make love with anyone else...

I loved her for that she was beautiful

I loved her for that she was beautiful;
And that to me she seem'd to be all Nature,
And all varieties of things in one:
Would set at night in clouds of tears,
and rise All light and laughter in the morning; fear
No petty customs nor appearances; B
ut think what others only dream'd about;
And say what others did but think; and do
What others dared not do:
so pure withal In soul; in heart and act such conscious yet
Such perfect innocence, she made round her
A halo of delight. '
Twas these which won me;— And that she never school'd within her breast
One thought or feeling, but gave holiday To all;
and that she made all even mine In the communion of love:
and we Grew like each other,
for we loved each other;
She, mild and generous as the air in spring;
And I, like earth all budding out with love.
